BIOGRAPHY

Italian songwriter born in Milan.
Her passions have always been dance, music and travels.
She attended the CPM (centro professione musica) in Milan studying piano, singing and percussion.
After that she went to La Havana Cuba, to learn Afro-Cuban dances and percussion.
Once back in Italy, she joined the industrial percussion band Vulcanica and
at the same time she worked as backup singer with La Bionda brothers.
With her first band Mister Moon Simona began to write her own songs and participated in numerous music competitions
During one of these contests she met new musicians who offered her to sing in a cover band “Donna Rouge, so she began to do a lot of gigs around Italy.
In the year 2002 Simona moved to Los Angeles to study composition at MI (Musician Institute)in Hollywood, where she had the opportunity to meet artists from all over the world.
On her return to Italy she continued to work as lounge singer, in hotels, bars, cruise ships.
During her travels she wrote the songs on the first album.
In 2009 she decided to produce her first album” Tutto comincia da qui” with the artistic producer Paolo Agosta.
The album goes from pop to dance to r&b.
In the year 2014 she released the second album “Stronger than lies” produced by Paolo Agosta, with which she wanted to reach an international audience, in fact 5 of the 12 songs are in English.
The sound is reggae, trip hop with some Motown influences.
“Stronger than lies” video was released in 2016. In the same year the new single “Il mio risveglio” was released too.
